{"id":30890,"date":"2017-09-15T08:29:11","date_gmt":"2017-09-15T15:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/?page_id=30890"},"modified":"2022-11-29T13:24:59","modified_gmt":"2022-11-29T21:24:59","slug":"bppm-revision-496","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/bppm-manual-revisions\/bppm-revision-496\/","title":{"rendered":"BPPM Revision 496"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--single\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h1>BPPM Revision #496<\/h1>\n<p><strong>August 7, 2017<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>This BPPM revision includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Department Orders&nbsp;70.07<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarifies that employees must obtain an AIS User ID prior to being granted access to the Department Order (DO) system in the PAPR AIS application.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a requirement for employees to complete state-mandated training prior to being granted access to generate DOs.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the procedures for requesting authorization to generate DOs.<\/li>\n<li>Adds procedures for view-only access to DOs.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the policy to prohibit the use of DOs for payments of nonemployee labor for services subject to prevailing wages.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a notation that Purchasing Services may grant exceptions to prohibited purchases on a case-by-case basis.<\/li>\n<li>Clarifies when the net due payment is completed and the requirements for properly completed invoices.<\/li>\n<li>Removes the notation that the tax amount does not appear on the vendor copy of a printed DO.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the payment authorization procedures to add discussion of the rapid invoice payment process (RIP) option.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the list of functions available in the DO Subsystem Menu.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accessing Administrative Information Systems <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-85-33\/\">85.33<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision updates procedures by requiring employees to complete online state-mandated training prior to requesting access to the PAPR: Department Order application.
