2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr>\n<p>This BPPM revision includes the following changes:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Exterior Signage&#8211;WSU Pullman<a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-20-42\/\"> 20.42<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Updates the policies for requesting and installing specified permanent exterior signage.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the requirements for building identity blade signage and interpretive signs.<\/li>\n<li>Adds requirements for directions signs, pedestrian mall signs, and regulatory signs.<\/li>\n<li>Changes the subsection regarding signage related to Athletics and UREC to signage related to auxiliary services.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the subsection regarding signage related to memorial and dedication plaques and benches.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nonservice Pay Authorization <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-30-30\/\">30.30<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Nonservice Pay Authorization form is included in this revision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removes actions to revise or extend a nonservice pay authorization.<\/li>\n<li>Adds instructions and form \ufb01elds for entering the country of citizenship and date of birth if the recipient is not a U.S. citizen.<\/li>\n<li>Clari\ufb01es the requirement to enter the name of the responsible department.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a \ufb01eld indicating whether or not the recipient is enrolled in direct deposit.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a requirement to enter a brief description of the nonservice pay in Comments.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the disbursement plan to remove the Other and Total Amount Disbursed columns.<\/li>\n<li>Adds clari\ufb01cation that disbursement dates are always the \ufb01rst of the month.<\/li>\n<li>Removes the requirement to specify the calculation methods used to determine the payments.<\/li>\n<li>Adds \ufb01elds for approving administrator and dean\/director names.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a&nbsp;description of applicable tax forms related to nonservice payments.<\/li>\n<li>Adds a&nbsp;reminder to ensure protection and illegible destruction of the forms, which contain con\ufb01dential information (e.g., social security numbers), in accordance with University records retention and disposition requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Endowed Professorships <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-30-82\/\">30.82<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This new section provides policy and procedures regarding the establishment and management of endowed professorships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Authority of the Attending Veterinarian <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-45-42\/\">45.42<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This new section defines the authority of the institutionally-appointed Attending Veterinarian, in accordance with the federal Animal Welfare Act.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Buying Meals or Light Refreshments for Meetings <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-70-31\/\">70.31<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision updates and clarifies the requirements and procedures for purchasing meals or light refreshments for meetings.&nbsp;The Request to Service Food form is included in this
