(This includes an update to the corresponding Departure Checklist form.)<\/li>\n<li>Adds the requirement that an Area Evaluation\/Release form be submitted when a PI leaves the University.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Vehicle Acquisition and Disposal <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-70-40\/\">70.40<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>This revision:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Removes the requirement for out-of-state vehicles to be inspected by the Washington State Patrol prior to completion of title applications.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the procedures for applying for and obtaining a title and license.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the procedures regarding Declaration of Use Tax forms.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the requirements for documentaiton to be maintained inside vehicle glove compartments.<\/li>\n<li>Adds the requirement for departmental personnel to notify Risk Management Services of the inventory tag number for each new vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>Updates the definition of farm equipment and heavy machinery to increase the open roads usable distance from the point of departure, in accordance with current state rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Evidence Preservation <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-90-12\/\">90.12<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision updates the responsibilities and requirements for identifying and preserving potential evidence when litigation to which WSU is a party has been filed or is reasonably foreseeable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Travel Advance <a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/business-policies-and-procedures-manual\/bppm-95-05\/\">95.05<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision increases the length of time a traveler must be in travel status in order to be eligible for a travel advance.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1061,"featured_media":0,"parent":21116,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"wsuwp_university_location":[],"wsuwp_university_org":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/41157"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1061"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=41157"}],"version-history":[{"count":7,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/41157\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":56577,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/41157\/revisions\/56577"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/21116"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=41157"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"wsuwp_university_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsuwp_university_location?post=41157"},{"taxonomy":"wsuwp_university_org","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsuwp_university_org?post=41157"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
