{"id":63793,"date":"2024-07-31T09:25:35","date_gmt":"2024-07-31T16:25:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/?page_id=63793"},"modified":"2024-07-31T09:26:10","modified_gmt":"2024-07-31T16:26:10","slug":"epm-revision-120","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/revisions\/epm-revisions\/epm-revision-120\/","title":{"rendered":"EPM Revision 120"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wsu-row wsu-row--single\" >\r\n    \n<div class=\"wsu-column\"  style=\"\">\r\n\t\n\n<h1>EPM Revision #120<\/h1>\n<p><strong>July 31, 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>University Executive Administrators have approved the following revision to the Executive Policy Manual.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/index\/manuals\/executive-policy-manual\/ep15\/\">EP15<\/a> Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This revision updates WSU\u2019s policy in accordance with new federal Department of Education regulations. Revisions include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Clarifies the policy\u2019s applicability and made it consistent for all cases.<\/li>\n<li>Highlights confidential and non-confidential reporting options available to complainants.<\/li>\n<li>Updates definition of supportive measures to provide greater authority to protect the safety of parties or the academic or work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Simplifies the informal resolution process to make it more accessible for parties.<\/li>\n<li>Removes the requirement for a written complaint to initiate a grievance process.<\/li>\n<li>Clarifies factors that may lead CCR to initiate a grievance process in the absence of a complaint.<\/li>\n<li>Adds the Office of the University Ombuds and peer health educators as confidential resources.<\/li>\n<li>Adds new reporting requirements for employees as required by Title IX.<\/li>\n<li>Adds new information sharing requirements for employees when students disclose pregnancy or related conditions as required by Title IX.<\/li>\n<li>Updates definitions of sex-based harassment as required by Title IX and the Clery Act.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<\/div>\r\n\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1061,"featured_media":0,"parent":23664,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":[],"wsuwp_university_location":[],"wsuwp_university_org":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63793"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1061"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=63793"}],"version-history":[{"count":3,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63793\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":63867,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/63793\/revisions\/63867"}],"up":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/23664"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=63793"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"wsuwp_university_location","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsuwp_university_location?post=63793"},{"taxonomy":"wsuwp_university_org","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/policies.wsu.edu\/prf\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/wsuwp_university_org?post=63793"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
