This SPPM revision includes the following changes:

Control of Hazardous Energy Sources 2.73

This revision:

• Moves this section from SPPM Chapter 3: Shop/Agricultural Workplace Safety to Chapter 2: General Workplace Safety. (This section was formerly SPPM 3.68.)
• Updates the types of personnel responsible for supervising and enforcing this policy.
• Clarifies the definition of an energy-controlling device owned and controlled by the employee.
• Expands the lists of potential hazardous energy sources and possible service and maintenance activities which may involve hazardous energy sources.
• Updates the requirements regarding control of hazards.
