BOR Policy Manual Revision #19

The Washington State University Board of Regents have approved the following revision to the Board of Regents (BOR) Policy Manual.

BOR2 Delegation of Authority

To align the policy with current practice, this revision adds the following two areas in which the Board has reserved authority:

  • University Operating Budget: To approve the University’s annual comprehensive operating budget; and
  • Athletics Budget: To approve the University’s annual intercollegiate athletics budget and transfers of funds in accordance with RCW 28B.15.120

BOR3 Policy on Committee Charters

To align with current practice, this revision includes the following additions:

  • For the Finance and Administration Committee:
    • Adds responsibility for reviewing and approving the University’s annual comprehensive operating budget; and
    • Adds responsibility for approval of the Athletics budget and transfers of funds in accordance with RCW 28B.15.120.
  • For the Strategic and Operational Excellence Committee:
    • Adds a paragraph specific to tribal relations.
