This BPPM revision includes the following changes:
Fiscal Responsibilities for Grants and Contracts 40.01
This revision updates the citations of federal regulations regarding grant and contract fiscal activities and audits, in accordance with federal changes. The citations are clarified to indicate the regulations applicable to grants awarded prior to December 26, 2014 and those applicable to grants awarded on or after December 26, 2014.
Cost Determination Guidelines 40.09
This revision updates the requirements regarding determination of costs for grants and contracts, in accordance with federal changes. The section is now divided into two main subsections regarding the requirements applicable to grants awarded prior to December 26, 2014 and the requirements applicable to grants awarded on or after December 26, 2014.
Facilities and Administrative Costs 40.25
This revision:
- Updates the citations of federal regulations regarding facilities and administrative (F&A) costs, in accordance with federal changes. The citations are clarified to indicate the regulations applicable to grants awarded prior to December 26, 2014 and those applicable to grants awarded on or after December 26, 2014.
- Updates the examples of calculations used to prepare F&A cost proposals, in accordance with current F&A cost rates.
Managing Research Records 45.35
This revision adds a reference to the Code of Federal Regulations for further information regarding post federal award records requirements for grants awarded on or after December 26, 2014.
All-University Records Retention Schedule: Research and Sponsored Projects Records (90.01)
This revision adds internal University reference notations regarding the federal regulations related to the Time Keeping / Time and Effort (GS 03035) records series.
