This BPPM revision includes the following changes:
10.38 Policy on Policies
This revision:
- Removes all references to the Equity Lens Tool (which is pending review);
- Updates the definition of major and minor revisions for clarity;
- Updates and reorganizes policy review process requirements and procedures to reflect current practice; and
- Moves the policy from the Executive Policy Manual to Chapter 10: Governance and Legal.
10.45 Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility
This revision:
- Consolidates BPPM 85.55 Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility with EP7 Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Policy;
- Updates the standards, responsibilities, and requirements for ensuring the accessibility of materials and information provided through University electronic and information technology (EIT); and
- Moves the policy to Chapter 10: Governance and Legal.
40.27 Fixed Price Agreements
This revision updates the procedures for the distribution of any residual funds remaining after facilities and administrative (F&A)/indirect costs are removed from a sponsored project cash balance.
50.37 Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operation
This revision:
- Removes confiscation from possible outcomes of noncompliance; and
- Updates the UAS Request form to include the approval form in the same PDF.
60.59 Overtime-Eligible Employees
This revision:
- Adds nonpermanent, hourly, and student employees to policy;
- Clarifies process for eligible employees to request compensatory time off in lieu of pay; and
- Adds On-Call/Standby Pay section.
60.81 Volunteers
This revision clarifies:
- Who qualifies as a volunteer;
- The purpose of and requirements for tracking volunteer hours; and
- Form completion information for tracking volunteer hours.
80.90 Parking Permits Available for Departments at WSU Pullman is now retired. The information is available from Transportation Services.
87.07 E-Mail Use and Security
This new policy:
- Provides responsibilities and requirements for the use of WSU email accounts to ensure integrity and accessibility of records that are sent or received by email; and
- Transfers the section on electronic communications from EP4 to this policy instead.
87.21 Security Awareness and Training
This new policy:
- Provides responsibilities and requirements for information security and privacy awareness training; and
- Transfers the sections on personnel training requirements from EP37 to this policy instead.
