EPM Revision #82

University Executive Administrators have approved the following revision to the Executive Policy Manual.

Policy on Policies EP5

This revision:

  • Adds policy requirements regarding system-wide University policies and procedures.
  • Adds format recommendations for applicable policies and procedures.
  • Updates the applicability of the policy to the various types of University policies and procedures.
  • Updates the definitions and responsibility for applicable policies and procedures.
  • Updates the requirements for developing, approving, and publishing applicable policies and procedures.
  • Updates the requirements for revision, periodic review, and retention of applicable policies and procedures.

  • Changes the title of the policy from “Policy Approval and Distribution.”

Policy on Risk Management EP6

This revision:

  • Adds risk control, loss control, and risk and loss management requirements.
  • Updates the University’s risk management organizational structure.
  • Replaces the “Requirements” subsection with “General Policy” and “Program Objectives” subsections.
