This BPPM revision includes the following changes:

50.31 Maintaining a Professional Workplace

This revision:

  • Updates the reporting and complaint options to conform with Faculty Manual Section II F: Corrective Action and Disciplinary Process/Procedures.
  • Updates the list of examples of conduct that, by itself, generally does not rise to the level of abusive.
  • Updates the actions required by supervisors who witness or receive a report of unprofessional or abusive conduct.

50.70 Campus Security Authority Designation and Communication

This revision updates:

  • The list of Clery crimes in Section 5.0 in accordance with current law.
  •  The title of the applicable law in Section 1.0.

60.70 Tuition Waivers–Fall and Spring Semesters

This revision:

  • Adds nonpermanent scheduled (NPS) and nonpermanent non-scheduled (NPNS) civil service employees to the list of ineligible individuals.
  • Adds contact information for each of the campus Student Financial Services (SFS) offices.
  • Adds the word “temporary” to the reference about hourly employees in the ineligible individuals list.

60.73 Summer Educational Benefits

This revision:

  • Adds nonpermanent scheduled (NPS) and nonpermanent non-scheduled (NPNS) civil service employees to the list of ineligible individuals.
  • Adds the word “temporary” to the reference about hourly employees in the ineligible individuals list.
  • Updates the approval process for WSU employees.
