This UPPM revision includes the following changes:
30.57 Processing Non-Grant Receivables in myWSU
This revision:
- Changes the name of the policy from “Student Financial System” to “Processing Non-Grant Receivables in myWSU”;
- Creates a fillable PDF of the WSU Invoice for departmental use;
- States the purpose and applicability of the policy;
- Updates invoice completion, numbering, and distribution requirements; and
- Adds information on billing and aging reports through the Bursar’s Office.
40.02 Proposal Processing and Development
This revision:
- Updates the proposal approval process;
- Adds time requirements for completing the eRex form;
- Clarifies waiver requirements;
- Clarifies executive signatures requirements; and
- Updates relevant position and department titles.
60.15 Partner and Spouse Accommodation
This revision:
- Changes proposal approval from the Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Recognition to the Office of the Provost generally;
- Includes HRS in the departmental proposal development process;
- Acknowledges “dual career” terminology;
- Updates the criteria for position support after the end of temporary employment;
- Adjusts formatting to match current policy template; and
- Updates links to resources throughout.
60.31 Probationary and Trial Service Periods for Civil Service Employees
This revision:
- Adds “breaks in service” to circumstances requiring probationary periods;
- Updates position titles for accuracy; and
- Fixes grammar and formatting to reflect current template.
60.71 Training and Development
This revision:
- Incorporates and updates information on release time for training, allowing retirement of UPPM 60.72;
- Updates training and development expectations;
- Clarifies documentation requirements for training; and
- Updates links to HRS resources and contact information.
90.07 Release of Personnel Records
This minor revision includes updates to position titles and contact information.
90.78 Use of Social Security Number on Forms
This minor revision includes updates to position titles and contact information.
