This BPPM revision includes the following changes:
Use of Washington State University Name and Trademarks 35.10
This editorial change updates office names and website URLs to reflect current University practices.
Copyrighting and Marketing Original Material 35.35
This revision updates policy and procedures for copyright ownership and marketing of copyrightable materials, in accordance with the new executive policy EP38: University Policies on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization.
Recordkeeping and Publication Guidelines for Inventors 35.45
This minor amendment:
- Refers users to the new executive policy EP38: University Policies on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization.
- Updates the office responsible for the evaluation of publication proposals to reflect current University practices.
Invention Ownership and Disclosure 35.50
This section is removed.

Income Distribution 35.53
This revision:
- Updates the distribution royalties in accordance with the new executive policy EP38: University Policies on Intellectual Property, Technology Transfer, and Commercialization.
- Changes the title of this section from Invention Income Distribution.
Trade-Ins 70.12
This minor amendment updates the procedures for documenting and obtaining Surplus Stores approvals for trade-ins.
