This BPPM revision includes the following changes:

45.15 Organizational Conflict of Interest

In accordance with federal regulations, this new policy sets forth responsibilities and requirements for disclosure and management of organizational conflicts of interest (OCIs) that could adversely impact the services the University performs as a federal awardee or contractor. The policy requires WSU personnel to disclose (through MyResearch) relationships, interests, commitments, or obligations relating to the federal government that may give rise to an OCI. The conflict of interest administrator then reviews disclosures to determine whether a conflict management plan is needed.
