This BPPM revision includes the following changes:
BPPM 30.78 Establishing a Quasi Endowment
This revision updates the policy, requirements, and procedures for requesting, establishing, and terminating quasi endowments.
BPPM 45.25 Responding to Alleged Violations of University Research Policies
This new policy provides responsibilities, requirements, and procedures for investigating and responding to alleged violations of University research policies.
BPPM 60.50 Corrective and Disciplinary Action
This revision adds a statement to the policy overview that research-specific corrective actions related to research may be subject to BPPM 45.25.
BPPM 60.57 Civil Service Employee Leave
This revision:
- Changes the maximum accrual leave for a civil service employee from 240 hours to 280 hours as of the employee’s anniversary date in accordance with RCW 43.01.044.
- Adds reference to Workday processes for requesting/approving leave.
- Updates the Accrual Rates section.
- Updates list of reasons to allow an employee to use annual leave.
- Updates qualifications for holiday pay.
- Updates LWOP rule when LWOP is used with sick leave.
- Updates sick leave accrual rules for new and terminating employees.
