This expedited UPPM revision includes the following policies:

60.37 Layoff–Civil Service Employees

• Updates WSU’s layoff units;
• Updates the definition of seniority in accordance with WAC regulations;
• Adds a definition of “class series”; and
• Clarifies the definition of “comparable position.”

65.01 General University Contract Policy

This revision updates the definition of “preauthorized” to include time critical contracts.
