The policy development process in Section 4.0 of Executive Policy #5 encourages policy drafters to consult the equity lens tool early in the process. Once a draft is completed, PRF also conducts a preliminary equity lens review. Policies listed here are those that have been flagged by PRF or others for a more comprehensive equity impact assessment.


EP7 Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Policy (Draft #3)

This minor revision updates the state policies that govern electronic and information technology (EIT) accessibility, in accordance with current policy requirements from the Washington State Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

EP28 Consensual Romantic or Sexual Relationships Between Faculty, Staff, and/or Students (Draft #1)

This revision:

  • Completely rewrites the policy regarding romantic or sexual relationships when employees hold positions of academic or professional authority over romantic or sexual partners.

    WSU recognizes the importance of personal, consensual relationships but emphasizes the need to prevent negative consequences that may arise from romantic or sexual relationships within the University community.

  • Changes the title of the policy from Policy on Faculty-Student and Supervisor-Subordinate Relationships.
