This BPPM revision includes the following changes:

Procurement Card 70.08

This revision:

• Changes the responsibility for approving card users from the department chair to the card user’s direct supervisor or equivalent.
• Adds DES Washington State Small Purchases as a required training for card holders.
• Updates the Contracts subsection under “Prohibited Purchases” to state that copier lease payments and associated use charges on invoices are allowable Pcard use expenses as of July 1, 2021.
• Removes bullet under “Cost Center Manager Responsibilities” that states the Cost Center Manager needs to notify Accounts Payable if change in cardholder.
