This BPPM revision includes the following changes:

60.13 Consensual Romantic or Sexual Relationships Between Faculty, Staff, and/or Students

This revision:

• Moves this policy out of the Executive Policy Manual (EP28) to the BPPM.
• Rewrites the policy regarding romantic or sexual relationships when employees hold positions of academic or professional authority over romantic or sexual partners.
• Changes the title of the policy from “Policy on Faculty-Student and Supervisor-Subordinate Relationships.”

60.14 Nepotism

This revision:

• Rewrites the policy for minimizing potential conflicts of interest involving employment of family or household members.
• Broadens the definition of “family member.”
• Adds the definition of “position of academic or professional authority.”
